SPOT GUIDE
The main winging spot is on Emsworth foreshore.
Launching from:
- Warblington Road
- Beach Road
- Kings road
This is a tidal spot and works well about 1.5 hours either side of high tide.
If you don’t mind wading out you can go to 3 hours on certain tides.
Most people tend to use the Nore Rithe Channel, which runs SE from the beach out to Fowley Island for about 1/2 mile.
It’s can be sailed anywhere from W – NE wind range. Tricky when it’s SE.
Best in SW for a perfect reach both tacks
